Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Charges
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by the customs authorities and regulations of the destination country. Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import charges.
Kathmandu Forge does not control these charges and cannot guarantee or determine in advance the exact amount that may be charged by your local customs authority. Before placing an international order, we recommend checking your country's applicable customs and import regulations.
Import Regulations & Customer Responsibility
Certain Kathmandu Forge products may be subject to specific import, customs, transportation, or legal requirements depending on the destination country. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the ordered product can legally be imported into their country.
If you are unsure about the import regulations applicable to your destination, please contact your local customs authority before placing your order. Kathmandu Forge cannot be held responsible for an order being delayed, refused, held, confiscated, or returned because of destination-country import regulations or restrictions.

Custom & Personalized Products
Some Kathmandu Forge products may be made specifically according to a customer's requirements.
Custom, personalized, engraved, modified, or specially commissioned products are generally not eligible for return simply because the customer has changed their mind, as these products have been created specifically for that customer.
If a custom product arrives damaged or does not substantially match the agreed specifications, please contact us so we can review the situation. Before production begins, customers should carefully review and confirm all specifications provided for a custom order.
Handmade Product Variations
Every Kathmandu Forge product is individually handcrafted. Because of the traditional hand-forging and finishing process, no two handmade pieces will necessarily be exactly identical.
Minor variations in:
Surface texture
Finish
Color
Dimensions
Hammer marks
Natural material characteristics
Other small visual details
may occur. These characteristics are a natural part of individual craftsmanship and are not automatically considered defects. Where exact specifications are important, please refer to the product description or contact us before placing your order.

Checking applicable import regulations,
