Where We Ship
Kathmandu Forge ships orders from Kathmandu, Nepal to eligible international destinations. We use DHL Express for international shipments whenever available. DHL provides reliable international transportation and shipment tracking, allowing you to monitor your package during its journey.
Shipping availability may vary depending on the destination country's import regulations and restrictions.
Order Processing & Forging Time
Most Kathmandu Forge products are handcrafted and require time to forge, finish, inspect, and carefully prepare for shipment. Our standard forging and preparation time is approximately 5–7 Business Days. This period begins after your order has been successfully placed and payment has been confirmed.
Please note that 5–7 business days is our production and preparation time, not the delivery time. The process is:

Custom, personalized, or specially requested products may require additional preparation time depending on their design and specifications. If additional time is required, we will communicate this with you.
Once your order is completed and dispatched, you will receive DHL tracking information when available.
DHL International Shipping
Once your product has been completed, inspected, and carefully packaged, it will be handed over to DHL for international delivery. After dispatch, you will receive tracking information when available so you can follow your shipment. Actual delivery times depend on the destination, DHL service, customs clearance, local delivery conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Please note: The delivery timeframe provided by DHL is an estimated delivery time and is not a guaranteed delivery date. International shipments may occasionally take longer due to:

Import inspections
Local holidays
Weather conditions
Transportation disruptions
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information

Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on the destination, package size, weight, and DHL service available for your order. The applicable shipping cost will be displayed during checkout or communicated to you before shipment, where applicable.

Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide DHL tracking information when available. You can use your tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment.
Please note that tracking information may take some time to become active after your package has been handed over to DHL.
Delayed, Lost or Undelivered Packages
We carefully package every order before it leaves our workshop and ship through DHL. If your shipment appears to be delayed, please first check the DHL tracking information. If a shipment appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact Kathmandu Forge so that we can assist with the shipping investigation where possible.
Delays caused by customs authorities, import inspections, weather, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control may require additional time.
Damaged Packages & Products
We take great care when packaging our products for international transportation. If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take photographs of the package before opening it, if possible.
After opening the package, please take clear photographs of:
The product
Any visible damage
The packaging
The shipping label
Any other evidence that may help us investigate the issue
Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs. Do not discard the original packaging until the issue has been resolved, as DHL or the shipping provider may require it during an investigation. After reviewing the situation, Kathmandu Forge will work with you to determine an appropriate solution.
Returns Policy
We want every Kathmandu Forge customer to be satisfied with their purchase.
For eligible standard products, we accept return requests within 14 Days of Delivery. To request a return, please contact us before sending the product back. To be eligible for a return, the product must generally be:
Unused
In its original condition
Free from damage caused after delivery
Returned with its original packaging and included accessories, where applicable
Returned within the applicable return period
All returned products are subject to inspection after they arrive at Kathmandu Forge.
How to Request a Return
Please contact us before returning your order.

After reviewing your request, we will provide further return instructions if the return is approved. Please do not send a product back without contacting us first. This helps us identify your order and process your return correctly.
Return Shipping Costs
If a return is requested because of a change of mind, incorrect selection, or another reason that is not caused by Kathmandu Forge, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
If the product was:
Incorrectly supplied by Kathmandu Forge
Damaged during delivery
Received in a condition that requires review
we will assess the situation and determine the appropriate return, replacement, repair, or refund arrangement. Original shipping charges may not be refundable unless the return is caused by an error or issue for which Kathmandu Forge is responsible.
Refunds
If a return is approved and the returned product passes inspection, the applicable refund will be processed to the original payment method where possible. The time required for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider or financial institution. Refunds may be adjusted where applicable for non-refundable shipping charges or other costs described in this policy.
Order Cancellation
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Because many Kathmandu Forge products are handcrafted and may begin production after an order is received, cancellation may not be possible once forging, customization, or preparation has started.
If production has already begun, the order may no longer qualify for cancellation or may be subject to the applicable custom or made-to-order policy. We will always do our best to accommodate cancellation requests received before production begins.
